Armory
This armour is extraordinarily complete and homogeneous. All its parts are burnished, engraved, damascened and gilt with alternating plain and decorated bands. The decoration includes grotesque, trophies, fantastic dolphins, foliage, volutes and eight-pointed stars. The ornaments are in the French style, but the type of workmanship reveals the Milanese origin of the armour. According to tradition, it belonged to the famous Colleoni family of Bergamo, probably owned by Guardino di Febo Colleoni.
