FROM VASE TO FLOWER. Inventory between nature and design

7 April | 9 May 2011

The Poldi Pezzoli Museum will host the exhibition From Vase to Flower. Inventory between Nature and Design from 7 April to 9 May 2011.

The exhibition, curated by Beppe Finessi, is a consideration about the flower vase, as every designer has to deal with such an object: this is the reason why we can make a list, an inventory as in the title, of those who are considered the leading designers of the third millennium.

On show nearly fifty vases; among them works by: Lorenzo Damiani, Florence Doleac, Marco Ferreri, Freshwest, Alexis Georgacopoulos, Martí Guixé, Massimo Lunardon, Fabio Novembre, Donata Paruccini, Cédric Ragot, Tina Roeder, Adrien Rovero, Denis Santachiara, Robert Stadler, Paolo Ulian, Vedovamazzei, Guido Venturini; besides, some “historical” pieces by Bruno Munari, Ettore Sottsass, Angelo Mangiarotti, Alessandro Mendini and Enzo Mari. The vases on show will be full of flowers, particularly chosen by Tearose.
