Murano Glass Room
This room, damaged during the 1943 air raids, was Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli’s bedroom. The carved canopied bed in neobaroque style got lost at the beginning of the 20th century. It was a work by Giuseppe Ripamonti, like the wonderful doors which luckily survived.
In this room are now exhibited the archaeological collection and the antique glass collection, about 200 pieces, most of them bought by Poldi Pezzoli himself.
